Supporting Our Veterans

Supporting Veterans

Whilst we mentally and physically prepare for the endurance challenge later in the year, no doubt pushing Major Powers to breaking point, we won’t neglect to forget that our efforts are worth nothing without your support, encouragement and generous donations. Honestly, seven days of pain is nothing compared to what our service personnel and veterans go through daily, both mentally and physically, suffering in silence. This really is our chance to make a difference to those dedicated people who have given their life, soul and livelihoods to their country, who now need your help in their time of need. Let us put them first, and help us to support veterans by donating to the country's leading mental health charity who now supports them.

Your donation will empower veterans, rebuild families and save lives. Combat Stress is a charity with a clear vision, and Major Powers has seen first-hand the impact their team and programmes can have on the quality of life for those veterans who are now struggling to come to terms with the effects of their military service. Every penny raised through our event will be automatically donated directly to the cause, and those proceeds will make a huge difference to operations at the charity. Considering the past year we have all had, never has it been more critical that we support all our veterans and service personnel to reduce the effects of mental illness. Feelings of wellbeing are fundamental to the overall health of our soldiers and veterans, and this need has become exponentially heightened due to the recent global pandemic.

Supporting veterans, the team at Combat Stress have been supporting former servicemen and women for over a century, providing specialist treatment and support for veterans from every conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues. Now more than ever, veterans need them, and we all need you. The vision of the charity is for all former servicemen and women with complex mental health problems to live full and meaningful lives. Their mission is to provide support and treatment to veterans with complex mental health problems to help them tackle the past and take on the future. United in purpose yet collaborative in action, their support really is vital to those veterans who turn to them at their darkest hour. Help us to support the charity by donating today, rebuild the lives of those struggling, and do the right thing.
